I am delighted to welcome you to the 11th Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference (RPIC) 2026, hosted by the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
The theme for this year’s conference, “Education Research for Impact,” speaks directly to the pressing challenges of our times. It calls on researchers and educators alike to harness research as a powerful catalyst for transforming classroom practice and improving learner outcomes.
In a rapidly evolving world, the role of education research in driving meaningful and lasting change has never been more critical. Realising this potential, however, requires more than individual effort—it depends on sustained collaboration among researchers, educators, and policymakers.
RPIC 2026 provides a vibrant platform for such engagement, bringing together these key stakeholders, including industry leaders, to explore how partnerships can be strengthened across the education sector. Through keynote addresses, research presentations, symposia, and interactive workshops, participants will engage in discussions on how stronger connections between research and practice can drive educational innovation and transformation.
Now in its 11th edition, RPIC continues to foster the exchange of cutting-edge ideas, innovative solutions, and best practices that advance pedagogy and strengthen education systems both regionally and globally.
As the host of RPIC 2026, NIE remains committed to advancing impactful education research and empowering educators with both the intellectual rigour and practical expertise needed to effect meaningful change.
Together, let us continue to work collectively to advance education research, collaboration, and innovation in ways that enhance teaching and learning. Thank you.
